Community Companion

Beta terms

Use Community Companion with care for your group.

These beta terms describe the expectations for using Community Companion while the app is in mobile beta. They are written for the current native app and public website, not a future paid product.

Accounts, groups, and leaders

You are responsible for the information you add to your account and the groups you join or lead. Leaders and organization admins should invite only the people they intend to include and should remove access when someone no longer belongs in a private group.

Private group content

Chat, prayer requests, praises, notes, comments, RSVPs, meal signups, rosters, and discussion activity are intended for the people with access to that group. Do not copy or share private group content outside the app unless you have permission from the people involved.

AI-assisted drafts

Sermon AI features are drafting tools. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, and leaders must review sermon summaries, slides, discussion prompts, and other generated content before using or publishing it.

Beta availability

Community Companion is currently a beta product. Features may change, break, or be temporarily unavailable while the app, backend, and public website are improved.

Acceptable use

Keep the app useful, private, and safe for real people.

Do not use Community Companion to harass people, impersonate someone else, upload illegal content, scrape private group data, or work around group access controls.

We may remove content, restrict access, or disable accounts when needed to protect people, groups, churches, the service, or the underlying providers.
